If you’ve been following me on Twitter you’ll know I, like every Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D fan out there, have been obsessing over the season 4 finale. I mean you don’t get any cooler than the character of Ghost Rider do you? The flaming skull transformations, and of course the epic return with the chain & fight sequences, Gabriel Luna aka. Robbie Reyes definitely stole the show for me this season. The only other character I might have a slightly more affinity towards in the latest run of Marvel series’ is Frank Castle…but that’s a whole other story.

I decided to keep to an interpretation of Felipe Smith’s version of Ghost Rider from the comics, but still incorporate aspects of the show; Gabriel Luna was definitely going to be in it. 🙂 I know some people didn’t really like the new look of the Ghost Rider (in the comics) but I thought it was new and refreshing look. I didn’t know much about the Ghost Rider previously, other than the incredible art I’d see from older issues with Johnny Blaze and his bike. It’s been fun catching up on newer comics.

On the wishlist:
Daredevil by Ed Brubaker & The Punisher by Garth Ennis Omnibus’ have joined my wishlist, well for now anyways given the somewhat hefty price tag. The art alone is a motivator for me to get them. Tim Bradstreet covers for the Punisher is often a guilty pleasure of mine to get inspired, and a definite motivator to improve my own skills. 😀
